Really looking forward to the new Coriolanus film! With Ralph Fiennes it’s got to be good. And a play so often overlooked for film or performance. War and politics, it’s a play that speak to modern times surely? Here’s the trailer on youtube.
(and of course I illustrated a Coriolanus design too!)

This winter I've been missing the old midwest snow: I made some frosty-looking jars for the London studio.
For the snow effect: Take one clean jar, spray throughly with inexpensive hairspray (give it a good coat.) Then blow cornstarch onto the surface while the hairspray is good and wet. The more spray, the frostier the glass - an old prop department trick I love.
You can pat the cornstarch one the surface to make it a more solid coat, or leave it a little spattered looking. One more quick hairspray for good measure and you’re done.
Easy to wash jars and glasses clean again after the holidays as well with a bit of soap and water.
